The rain finally stopped. The clouds parted, letting the sun shine through. My little shop was once again filled with light.
Picking up where I had left off, I finished laying out the first of the two tulip panels.
After an hour or so of removing background and stippling, the panel was complete. I was surprised at how quickly the panel fell into place.
Given the location and intensity of the bright orb in the sky, I realized that I had time to lay out the second tulip panel, before calling it a day.
I think these panels are coming along quite nicely. Soon it will be time for some more joinery, and of course … rip sawing that 7/4 white ash!
